The average household in Britain produces six tonnes
of Carbon Dioxide every year, but by installing a solar system your
home’s Carbon Dioxide emissions can be reduced by up to half
a tonne. Systems cost from as little as £1,850 fully installed.
The Sun Rise scheme takes all the hassle out of installation. Just
one telephone call to the Green Energy Centre can register you for
the scheme and arrange for an installer to visit your house for
a quotation. Experienced call handlers will see you through the
whole process, which is independent of any supplier, ensuring that
you get the best system for your home.
Installation through the Sun Rise Scheme:
1. Use the home suitability check to
see if your home is likely to be able to have solar power fitted.
2. Call the Green Energy Centre to register for the scheme: 020
8683 6683
3. We will then allocate you to one of our scheme installers who
are all trained by Solar Trade Assocation members.
4. The installer will contact you directly to make an appointment
to visit your home.
5. The installer will quote for the installation at your property
as well as checking your home for any other appropriate energy efficiency
measures that it would make sense to carry out before installing
renewable energy measures.
6. The installer will send this quotation to us at Sun Rise. We
will check that it fits with our price guidelines and that any additional
costs are reasonable.
7. If the quotation is within our guidelines we will send it to
you, for you to make a decision to proceed with the works.
8. You need to call us to accept the quotation in order that progress
can be made with the application for the Clear
Skies or MDP Grant can go ahead.
9. Once the grant funding has been secured, the installer will
then contact you to arrange a date for installation.
