The Kent Renewable Energy Network (KREN)

In January 2004 the Kent Renewable Energy Network was formed to coordinate the range of organisations that are working towards achieving the regional targets for renewable energy production. The network aims to grow the market for renewable energy, increase awareness of and receptiveness to sustainable energy and more broadly develop and deliver a renewable energy service.

The network of over 70 organisations, co-ordinated by Creative Environmental Networks, is taking this plan forward so that individual organisation's efforts are not duplicated and that best value is given to schemes. Progress made on the various elements of the plan is clearly communicated to the network and a wider audience.
