a business survey in 2003, Rotherhithe YHA installed
a 1.8kWp solar PV system, and a 12 square metre solar
hot water system. The system produces 6000kWh per
year.
As well as providing free energy
for the site, it provides an opportunity for the
site to demonstrate its commitment to sustainable
energy.
