Domestic Renewable Energy Programmes

Services for domestic households

CEN brings together all its capabilities to provide residents with impartial advice, quality installations, the best value systems and access to discounts and grants, unmatched by any other organisation.

This is possible through dedicated staff, automated systems, and by CEN's not-for-profit status. Through its installation programmes CEN aims to increase receptiveness to and growing the market for renewable energy, sustainably.

CEN's domestic installation programmes grow the market for renewable energy domestic installations: our headline installation project, sun rise, has installed more than 100 solar hot water systems in the year since its launch in 2003.

As well as helping to meet our targets for carbon reduction, they support local employment and the local economy, while raising awareness of sustainable energy and increasing the body of support for future renewable energy developments.
