Local Energy Support Programme

Information Sharing

Information Sharing is core to the success of the LESP team's work in London, and has taken the form of Forums, Research, Workshops, Profile Raising for both individual projects and wider issues. Examples of our recent activities are gicven in the sections below.

We have provided support in the development of sustainable energy strategies and associated policies, such as the "Including Coordinating" workshops at the launch of Hillingdon's Affordable Warmth Strategy. More information...

Based on information sharing between a number of partners in Richmond, the Local Energy Support Programme coordinated the set up of a dedicated freephone number to bring together the services available to Richmond residents.

Richmond Climate Change Task Group & Better Borough - we have been assisting with the development of scrutiny criteria for the Environment Scrutiny Committee, and participation in the scrutiny process as a witness for energy efficiency and renewable energy issues.

MP Fuel Poverty Days - we are running these events on a rolling basis across the seven boroughs in order to increase awareness of the problem of fuel poverty.
