CEN has provided basic renewable energy training to
Development Control and Planning Officers across London and Kent.
The training has equipped them with introductory knowledge and information
about the processing of planning applications
with
renewable energy elements.
The training introduces planning
staff to the range
of technologies available, highlighting their practicalities
and benefits in an urban environment. To date we have worked
with individual local authority planning departments such as Shepway
and Croydon, as well as more regional groups such as Kent Planning
Officers Group (KPOG), Kent Design, and Kent Development Officers
Group (KPOG).
